I've just heard a lot of people say it is. I've never played them on the same platform and I've hardly played DiRT 2 at all.

And the Colin McRae games were much better than the Dirt games. I see a continuous decrease in quality from Codemasters here. Not saying Dirt series is bad, but it became less and less focused on real rally racing!

Yeah I've seen that too. I mean is rally doesn't even seem to be the main focus in Showdown.

it is the best rally simulator, real rally drivers used it for practice. So yes, it feels almost like real rally racing (with decent wheel of course)

It not worth it. If you look forums best dirt is dirt2 I think same thing. Dirt 3 not good as dirt2. Dirt showdown is not rally game not even dirt game. Its much similar with flatout game.

pre ordered it. worst game ever from dirt series. imo it felt more like a cash grab. dirt 1, 2 and 3 are WAY better than that.

This, it doesn't deserve that price. I won the game and i enjoyed it actually since it was my first DiRT game played... until i got DiRT3.
