Several hundred. I did do some PC gaming back when I had a 486 and early Pentium PCs.

Yeah, got a whole lot of them boxes. Started playing on my parents 8088 before I bought my very own 386 when I went to college. A whole bunch of those older games are on 5¼" floppies that I can't even read anymore.

My first PC was a 286 back in 1992 and my first games were The Secret of Monkey Island and Wolfenstein 3D. Sadly in Italy then was the time when buying a original game was too expensive so we used pirated copies copied by friends or sold in newspapers kiosks. Some year later I started buying original boxed copies starting with Kixx editions and budget version of the classics that I used also on a 486 and a Pentium 90 MHz with a 4x CD-ROM player. LeChuck's Revenge was one of my first CD games. Now I own nearly a hundred of boxed games. I still prefer buying boxed games.

Diablo 2 and Total Annihilation: Kingdoms are the only ones that have made it this far with me. The rest are lost to time.

Too many to mention, but the last physical copy of a PC game I bought was the Collector's Edition of Bioshock in 2007.

On shelves in a cabinet. And all over the room in general.
It was like a year ago. I have more now.

Thanks. I would have more but digital downloads (Steam, Origin, GOG) are dominating now and that's why I buy more digital games nowadays.

This is a pretty nice sight :D
You can make a throne with that. A throne of games :P

That's a nice collection. You'r from Polland, right. I immediately noticed the original witcher sign - "Wiedzmin".

Everquest, Anarchy Online, Torchlight, Skyrim, Arcanum, Neverwinter Nights, Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III, Warcraft II, Starcraft II, Age of Wonders, Age of Wonders II, Black & White, Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader, The Hobbit, Planescape: Torment, Fallout, Dungeon Siege and Titan's Quest. Had many more but eventually gave them away when I replaced with digital copies or just no longer had any interest at all in them.

I'm from Argentina too, but i will say this in english so everyone can read it.
Original games were hard to find, but i got a few ones: Wolfpack (very old one), Hype: The Time Quest (A Playmobil game for kids, pretty good, with swords, magic and dragons), Shogo: Mobile Armor Division (a freakin' masterpiece, totally deserves a chance to play it), and my aunt gifted me The Curse Of Monkey Island and Age Of Empires 1, also original too (best aunt ever! :D).
Now i started to buy original games on Steam and PS3. It hasn't passed a year since i have a PS3 and these are all the games that i got (except COD: Black Ops) http://psnprofiles.com/Karvahl. I got some cheap prices, discounts and good opportunities.

Morrowind, Oblivion, Oni, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, The Orange Box (for all the good a physical copy of that does :P), and the Dungeons and Dragons Anthology Master Collection are on my shelf. Plus I've got some older games from the pre-digital distribution days around here somewhere.

I am not very organized with my game CDs/DVDs so I stopped bothering about physical copies a long time ago. Now I buy them only digitally except PS3 games. Only games I can remember buying physical copies of are ES4 Oblivion and MW3, there are more but I can't remember them, probably lost them somewhere.

I was just thinking about that, given that when I was younger it was REALLY hard to find original games (i.e. not pirated copies) where I live or even near my town (I live southish in Argentina, and not in a main city), so the games I physically "have" are almost all copies T_T except for Metal Gear and Max Payne, which I got them as originals several years after they were released :/. And what about you guys and gals?
