Why no 'last' link when viewing giveaways?

Just wondering why the pagination links for the giveaways do not include a 'last' link? I have to manually type in the page number in the URL to to get to the last page. To go along with this, it would be nice if I could change the sort on the list.

It used to be there, but was removed due to server load, like adam mentioned.
