Did you make any purchases on Epic Games this holiday season?
Airborne Kingdom looks interesting. If you've tried it already, what are your thoughts?

My son and I are currently playing Carrion as well. I think we're pretty close to the end - great fun so far. I've really enjoyed it.

You don't have to even launch Epic though...
Most of the games are DRM-free, so you can just launch them with the .exe file.
since I buy those bad adult games that alone would be a hugh plus for steam
What, why?
Wait wait wait, don't answer.
Just please don't support the people who buy pre-made assets, slap some stolen art on top of that and sell it for 0.99 on steam.

Yes and yes, both at January 7th ^^ At least according to the information on their page. The only thing that concludes today is the mystery game daily reveal.

Thinking of getting Disco Elysium there before coupon expires, otherwise I'm gonna have to go look for something else there before the sale ends.
Griftlands would be under serious consideration except for I don't know how Steam Workshop is integrated into Epic Games currently. A very short search reveals that Steam Workshop is accessible only for some specific Epic store games for now? It's very 'up in the air' so getting Griftlands there with accessibility towards Steam Workshop mods is kinda hmmm...

You can apparently get Griftlands on Steam if you buy on Epic according to a post above

Short term memories/short sighted gamerz made sure 'Epic good' is the only narrative allowed going forward

Well, I guess people mad cause EGS is paying for games to be exclusive on their platform (for a year?). If you dont mind having extra launchers (or use Galaxy), don
t care about achievements all that much, etc. it is a non issue. Many people care and wait for the game to come to steam, many don`t and buy whatever wherever, and haters gonna hate.

Bud, no one is more anti-consumer than governments.
They tax you for the games purchases you make in order to support the game developers and they tax the game makers who are desperately trying to make a living doing what they do best i.e., making games which make people happy.
Epic games is making people happier by giving the gamers the games they can't afford in hope that they would become its customers when they can afford to make purchases. And they are supporting the other small and medium league game developers. How's that a bad thing?
And the old Tencent chant is meaningless. When you are asking others to boycott something just because it is Chinese (or from any other country for that matter) your hatred is because of the government of that country and not because of the companies or citizens of that country. Most people throughout the world are okay-ish and you shouldn't have much problem with them.
Simply put:
Government in Country X ≠ Company established in a Country X ≠ Common Citizens of Country X.
You can have your problem with people running governments and their policies but you should not have any problems with companies trying to run business and pay salaries to their employees or common folks who are trying to feed their families by working hard.
You cannot and should not use your hatred interchangeably.

Your comment helped me decide whether I should make purchase. Answer is of course no.
Although with almost 7200 games in your steam library one would expect that you'd have the most state of the art laptop/pc. :P I guess one learns something new each day.

Same here except mine is an intel laptop with integrated graphics. LOL.😆
I have a decent desktop rig but I find using laptop way more comfortable. I was waiting for a good Ryzen 4000 series laptop but the specs I want are still a little out of my budget. I suppose as long as this global lockdown thingy is imposed, supply of gadgetry will remain affected and we are not going to get the desired desktops/PCs at the prices we deserve.

You've missed the "I don't use EGS, period" option.

Picked up Death Stranding for $19.99 after discount, and Disco Elysium for $13.99 after discount. Considering RDR2, but will probably wait.
Others for consideration:
Satisfactory: I have played 300hrs of Satisfactory and would totally recommend it for consideration for $13.99 after discount to anyone interested.
Among Trees: is still pretty early access, but it's fun so far for a chill exploration game at $6.99 after discount.
Outer Wilds at $4.99 after discount gets good reviews.
The Last Campfires is a smaller game, but pretty cool for $11.99
Some of the ubisoft stuff like Assassin's Creed Origins or Far Cry 5 are like $4.99 also after coupons.

I got State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition ~$9, not bad at all. I was going to get World War Z GOTY, but it was less than $15, so I can't use the coupon.

Got HADES for 10$ after coupon... Really nice deal considering on steam is 17$ with deal.
