As the title, where can i find how many keys TF2 items are worth??
I've been visiting backpack.tf, but i don't think it's showing the right amount of keys in many items...
Do you guys know other websites?

Also which keys are worth more, TF2 keys or CS.GO keys? :)

No clue about websites which display item prices in keys, but I know that CS:GO keys are worth a bit more than TF2 ones.

Just check the prices on the community market. If the price is close to the price of 2 keys, it is worth 2 keys

csgo keys are more desired though.

Other than backpack.tf, there's the trade.tf too. :P And cs:go keys are worth a lot more, at least in the steam market, and everyone prefers them.

why the question?? and maybe it could be answered better... for instance, are you asking where you can buy the cheapest key from? or where you could sell keys for best profit? or????

marketplace.tf sells tf2 keys at one of the cheapest rate with an automated bot system to deliver.. or there are users who sell via paypal for same or less..
dispenser.tf bot system will take keys as payment towards gifts..

need more info to give more info ;)

I haven't been playing TF2 for a while now (i think 2 years).. and i have stuff i don't need anymore, so i thought i just might as well sell them.

For instance in backpack.tf the ellis' cap (normal) is worth like 510 keys.. -.-
That's why i'm asking :)

sorry to bust your bubble.. ellis' cap is worth 1.22ref or $0.11 (USD)... ;)
not even a single key xD

edit: ohh.. that "Normal" means the non-unique version.. both of your ellis' cap's are not normal, they are unique.

they are correctly priced there.. you looked at the wrong item compared to what you have..

unique vs normal

update: the prices you see here are actually very accurate though

that's what I thought. still don't know how to tell the difference between those two caps

edit: if I could figure out how to sell the stuff quickly, I'd be more than happy to

the yellow border around the photo means it is unique, and the tags at the bottom state its unique as well. the normal don't have those things.

funny that the 'normal' is the ultra-rare version, and the 'unique' one is common as shit

also, how can I sell a non-tradable item?

normal items almost all came from pre-F2P (i believe).. i was a retail player and all items i had obtained prior to the F2P were considered "normal" and all the new items people got while playing the f2p version are tagged "unique". i agree it sounds completely ass-backwards though.. but that's kinda the best explanation i got. lol xD

For some odd-quality items, a player would lose it some way, maybe by deleting it accidentally, and convince Valve support to restore the item. Sometimes the restored item would be a different quality than what the originals were.

backpack.tf and Steam Community Market are the best sites to check TF2 item prices.

Check the trade section on SG. There are a few people there that only sell keys and update their prices frequently.
