Perfect then Liege. And no problem. Sometimes it happens, so blacklist to the guilty users, and try to solve the ITH again :)

It's true... But well, better 1 than nothing. Even you can report that user you remember if SG can do something about it.

I'm afraid the cancelled ones will not expire giving back your slots. You lose a slot permanently each time you delete a giveaway.
However, not all is lost because you can always ask for more slots from support. Just send a ticket and explain the situation with your puzzle which btw is totally evil because I couldn't even think of a single approach to try :)

Oh, I did not know that, I will have to submit a ticket then.
And as for the puzzle, you will get another chance as I will definately be bringing that one back... maybe at the back end... blocking GTAV or Nier:automata... or something similar :P

If you can provide the proof..support can suspend the offenders.. But in your case I'm not sure.. afterall it was a leaked GA, which I am assuming you provided the wrong link.
You can always use SGtools to protect GA and trains. Support can use Sgtool's data as evidence for rule breaking. And also you can request for ban on every SGtool protected GA's or train if you like.

This! Got to combine puzzles with SGTools to avoid/figure out leakers and report them.

Such a lot of work. Thank you Liege for doing this for us pal...for your time and giveaways. God bless you.

Ah, so sorry about that, hopefully it was not my fault when I clumsily posted about the leak... :(
Anyway, thank you for the effort and the GAs, we appreciate it.
(I took a look at first one and tried a few things, but did not have the time yet to really try it.)
Cheers!

Yes, there was a leak in the first 2 minutes, which was pointed out and sorted. when I went to bed 2 hours later there were no unauthorized entries, when I woke up 2 users have managed to enter most of the GA's without solving the puzzle.
Hrrm. Not sure if I'm understanding the description correctly.
What kind of leak are you talking about, and how did someone leak a puzzle that no one solved? Unless you mean you messed something up and forgot to close part of the puzzle or a GA which exposed the rest of the train. Not exactly a real "leak" though, unless maybe you'd also classify yourself as a "leaker". I suppose its just semantics, though I suspect it might just be shading connotations based on some words tossed around in the thread.
Personally I think I'd have a hard time faulting either user for entering based on my own mistake since they did still did 'solve' it, finding the GA with what you gave them. That is unless it was clear those users didn't see the mistake and got in from link sharing like cheating any private GA. Are you assuming the leaked 'illegal' entries are from people sharing the link with each other?
Doesn't really seem like 2 people entering after you've fixed the link tells you much of anything by itself. It was accessible at the time and it's fairly reasonable that both could've bookmarked the link or kept the tab open until they had more points or time to enter later on. Maybe you were a bit premature cancelling the whole thing? shrug

You are correct in surmising that I left a GA Link open by mistake and was notified in the 1st minute. I managed to fix it then. The user who notified me entered the GAs with my blessing. For the next 2.5 hrs no one else entered as I checked before I went to bed. Sometime in the next 5 hours two.seperate users entered without completing the puzzle. If they had of entered in the first thirty minutes or even hour, I probably would have let it go.
You could be completely right as to what happened. I just don't know. So I cancelled the puzzle and will be putting.them up again tonight. Lesson learnt for me. In the end it was only my time wasted as I will reuse the puzzle that no one could solve, So 46 people had a.sneak preview.

SO I had a puzzle train that had 313 guesses, 46 players, 1 solve.
I was the only person who solved it, when I tested it, so 0 real solves.

So, I have cancelled the whole train, I apologise to the 46 players who spent what I am sure was a frustrating few hours trying to get it right.
I have included a GA for Shadowrun: Hong Kong Extended Edition
I won't supply an answer to the 1st puzzle just yet as I wish to reuse the puzzle later. But I will say that you needed to consider every word, not just the ones that seemed important.
