Twitch lagging on fast connections?

I used to be stuck watching twitch streams at low quality and still having them lag. Thanks to this solution I can watch them at source flawlessly. Figured I may as well share. You can also get to a way to fix lag on youtube and other video streaming sites from the links in the post.

I lag, as does almost every other person in EU on source. I use a program that connects me to US server and uses VLC player and its lag free (not livestreamer that doesnt change server)
