Release day Star Deal, DLC for Cities: Skylines.

If you have been planning to get this DLC from release day, then this deal is for you. Otherwise, I can't see any reason why you would want to get this deal.

Well it was only released this afternoon, so that's pretty good. (Unless, like me, you wanted the normal, not plus, version of the DLC, and had a 25% voucher for it on GMG ;P)

Not much of a discount compared to regular sale. Nice deal for those who plan to play it soon, nonetheless.

Very Positive Anime JRPG game. Never bundled before.

Lowest historical and $0.75 cheaper than previous lowest. This is a repeat of previous Star Deal on 2017-07-15 with the same cut, but the price is cheaper now since the base price was dropped to $15 in late half of July 2017.

The game is worth buying if you love JRPG games and you are planning to play it soon. Or you can buy it later any time in the year for $6.74, since the game is on sale very frequently.

Lowest historical*, and $1.5 cheaper than the regular sale price. Not a big drop if you haven't grabbed the game on previous sales, but if you missed it and you plan to play it soon, it's a decent deal.

* As pointed out by godprobe, the game was available for $12 on GreenManGaming with coupon.

Mostly Positive Sandbox RPG game, with single player and multiplayer content. Bundled twice, and the first time in Humble Endless RPG Lands Bundle Tier 1.

Good deal, though Summer sale is coming.

Very Positive Zombie Survival game in Open World. Never bundled before.

Lowest historical, and saves around $4.5 compared to regular sale price. It's a nice price to grab the game if you have been itching to have a go at it, but do note that Summer sale is in a few weeks ;-). Do note that the season pass is not included in this deal, so if you were planning to get the full game, you might want to take a step back before buying.

Yesterday it showed up as "Activates in Germany". Today it says "Will not activate in Germany"

It was at 15 euros the Enhanced edition on razer 2 weeks ago. Plus a 15% discount and a 15 euros coupon. I grabbed it there and I'm playing it now. Very nice game!

I personally would wait for the Enhanced edition to drop in price. The Following is really just too good to miss out on.

Lowest historical, and saves $0.5 compared to regular sale price. However, you might want to look for a cheaper copy in Group Buy.

I felt bad for this IP. It has an amazing cast but people expected either an online game or Saints Row V. It's not a bad game though but not a great game either.

Mixed Review Action Open World game. Never bundled before (included in a bundle at full price).

Lowest historical, and more than $1 cheaper than previous lowest. If you like previous installments of Saints Row games, you might find this game disappointing, since co-op has been removed, and the game is highly repetitive.

Collector beware, as the game has a crap load of DLCs which are not included in this deal. The good news is that the DLCs are in a bundle on Steam, so you can complete the set during sale.

Mixed review Open World Single/Co-op FPS by Deep Silver. Base game bundled 3 times, but the package has never been bundled before.

Lowest historical and saves $1 compared to regular sale price. I'd say if you haven't grabbed it from some of the sales through out the year, this deal probably won't make you budge at all. Not all the DLCs are included in the package, so completionist should take note before buying.

Open questions

1. Which package does the key activate? 106059 (base + 6 DLCs) or 95102 (base game + 8 DLCs). I guess it's probably the former, but I don't know for sure.
2. Are the keys sold by Fanatical region locked, or WW?

If you have been buying bundles for 4-5 years, or following sale for the last 2-3 years for these games, then sure, it's not worth it to you.

Updated, another hard one to give recommendation since the prices are all over the place.

A bundle of 3 Very Positive Action games. Darksiders Warmastered Edition is bundled once 5 years ago. Red Faction Guerrilla is bundled 4 times, last time is 2 years ago. Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is bundle once 3 years ago.

The 3 games was cheaper on sale if we consider the sale price in the last 2 years (total to around $8), but the current deal is around $2 to $3 cheaper compared to the sale price in the last 1 year. There would even be more deals (bundles and discounts) if we consider past promotion of original edition of Darksiders and Titan Quest, and the fact that owning the original version gives access to the remastered version of the games.

If you don't own any of these 3 games, and they looks like something you would play soon, this is a nice deal to grab all 3 - considering they are all good games.

Open questions

1. Which package does the key activate?
2. Are the keys sold by Fanatical region locked, or WW?

None that I'm aware of.
