+1 I'm afraid so. Still cheaper than smoking? A bit less toxic?

Usually only 12€ for the Humble Choice Classic Plan, but when there is a sale, things can get out of hands. ^^

I typically spend under $5. I only go for bundles if I will play nearly everything in them, and the price for the content really warrants it. I don't really buy games unless there's an insane sale somewhere I can't pass up or a big release I've been looking forward to comes out.

i usually spend like 12 on humble
but in December i bought a ps4 with: ff7 remake, last of us 1-2, god of war 4, toney hawk, kingdom hearts "trillogy".
so last month i spent like 500 on games.

Humble choice and if there is a good bundle somewhere, maybe that.
If you are ok with the money you spent, you do not have to be worried.
If you do not play these games, then maybe you should start thinking about it. Always go for only a game you want and buy another one after you beat that one.
Buying bundles for GAs is a trap as well. I try to keep it simple, one bundle per month alongside the leftovers from my Humble choice and that's it.

Sometimes 0, sometimes 20, sometimes 6(because of that Humble Bundle deal). I went for abou 6 months of no buying during 2020 Spring-Winter season. I usually buy something on multiplayer side if I see a lot of people jumping on board. Bought Fall guys but quickly refunded it because game wasnt fun for me. Among us wasn't my type either. Its usually not about money when it comes to games. I can spend as much as I want, but if gaming industry has nothing to offer and my tastes are not satisfied, my wallet sits safe in my drawer. Just give me something that I can play for years and I will pay 60 or even 15/month.

Usually below 10 EUR which mostly consits of humble choice(Lately I have gotten the $8 deal quit often). And considering how humble doesnt put any regular bundles out lately, I haven't bought any of those as well.
If fanatical or humble puts out a regular bundle - might get one. But that rarely happens lately. Very rare I get something directly on store. And even then it's no more then 10 EUR so I suppose even at highest I don't go over 20 EUR a month.

I have a limit of 25-30€ a month. When I spend a lot on other hobbies like buy books or decide to decorate my new appartement I reduce my game budget.

I used to only buy games once or twice a year, but lately i have been subscribing to humble monthly so.. $6+ now. I might need to reduce my spending somehow though.

24 euro a month for Monthly Choice
0-30 euro a month on various other bundles
0-200 euro a month directly on steam, depending on the month, high amounts in the Summer/Winter Sales, but outside those, if my purchase page is to be belived, i barely buy anything

My budget is somewhere around $60 per month, though I often go a bit beyond that. Like right now I am looking at the Final Fantasy deals on Humble and keep holding myself in check because I have played them before, and would just buy them in case I wanted to go back and play them again. I always think about them, but forever waiting for them to get bundled as a premium bundle all together... I have almost all of them on consoles anyway... My bad habit of seriously browsing and collecting started when I joined Steam, unfortunately, and with all of these bundles.

don't forget you also have to correct for inflation :)
say 1.5-2% inflation a year, so yes not a huge sum of money, but still not very little either.
If however you do the same calculation with 200+ dollars/pounds/euros a month as i've seen people mention, the math turns out very differently.
