Also apparently epic and gog are trying to help me with not spending any money on games because they give games from my wishlist for free xD
Seriously now I have about 20 new titles previously on my wishlist that sit in my backlog now :/

I'm surprised you didn't have a poll on this post. Anyways...

For me its probably been an average of $25 USD per month: Mostly on bundles, rarely for DLC of games I already own, and even more rarely for non-bundled games.

This year it will likely be half of that since I upgraded my PC to current hardware which took a good chunk of change.

Per month is hard to say. The odd bundle or big sale through the year perhaps, but I mainly spend a chunk during the big Steam sales; I got like 34 games for just under $200 CDN this Xmas for example. I never buy them when they first come out, but wait for sales and price reductions.

This year would have to be the first I didn't go crazy on the Steam sale. My general expenditure on games has decreased a lot.
If we don't consider my sub to Humble Choice, I've spent:
NZ$0 in January so far
NZ$15 in December (although, I did a special unbundled giveaway in December, so, ok, make that NZ$40)
NZ$15 in November
NZ$5 in October
NZ$10 in September

This last holidays were crazy...

I have spent a lot for upgrades for my PC - Curved 27'' monitor, Ryzen 7, AMD Radeon 5700XT...

And then - yearly subscription for my Humble Choice classic plan, my yearly PSN subscription, XboX game pass for PC and... cca 500 EUR for steam winter sale. This was so intense, so I think that I MUST TO STAY CALM at least half a year lol

Last year I spent around 400€ = around 30€ each month. It's too much, I've planned to spend half that in 2021. I have a lot of great games to play in my backlog.

Used to be way more, but since I've stopped to buy bundles (well, I still buy those that have wishlisted games and HB Choice) it's around 30-40 € a month. I mainly buy games that I plan to play soon and it's working more or less for now ;)
