Why unusual? D:
The average start of work here is 7 - 8 am, I start at 6:30 am.

In my country usual work starting hours are 8:30-9:00

So does your work end around 17:00?

I work 8 hours a day + 30 minutes break.
so usually 6:30 - 15:00
