Exactly.
Let's say a game had a problem when appeared on the store and the price is $0 instead of $10 (as example..)
In the time they notices, some one could buy 100000 copies and already trade some of them.

I don't know if this is of any help but steam does 4 packs if you your self do not own it(I believe) on most games so you get 3 to your inventory to giveaway and 1 for your self, grab them when the game goes on sale and its pretty cheap in the long run. As for connection speed have you thought maybe using a friends internet like at their house, or like the wireless in a library ? I used to do that before I got better internet.

I thought there was a reason why you have to purchase single copies. I thought it was something about making sure people don't buy in bulk and sell/trade it somewhere else, or something.
But I am probably wrong, seen I do think it would be useful if Steam would at least let us buy up to two of the same games.

How does that help? You can still just buy one at a time...

I think it becomes a matter of, you could buy 100 copies of a game when it's 75% off, then sell those copies to other people for half of the original value. You've just made a profit and more or less arsed Steam out of some sales. Obviously they don't mind you being a nice guy but they need to protect their own interests too.
Good luck on your mass giveaway spree, Fluttershy!

Heh, wonder what happens if you buy more games than you get entries?

Due to the awesome sale that's currently on (And a slight increase in my current personal funding) I wish to purchase rather large quantities of a single game and make an epic SteamGifts giveaway in a month or two.
The problem is that buying a single copy of a game (On a relatively slow connection) is a rather tedious process...
Has anyone found any simple ways (Potentially some utility or some such?) to buy multiple copies of a single game?
...Edit...
Turns out you can't even add the same game to your cart more than once, so you have to go through the entire purchase process each time >_>
...Edit 2...
Turns out they stop you mass buying games after you're purchased 9 copies of the same game - "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."
