Abandonware is not a law term - if something is not shareware/freeware, then someone owns the rights, abandonware is a common term used to refer to that we don't know who has the rights. Like with No One Lives Forever. Maybe Rockstar isn't actively caring about GTA 1 and 2, but it's technically against the law to even have those games up on abandonware sites. if they will care at a point, they could kick one's butt, though likely they won't care about them ever.

There is - I've found some kind of legacy boxed version (1+ addon, 2 and III), only the III being steam version, in my supermarket like 2 months ago for 4 euros. The box looks bad, as per usual in those low price packs, but the games work on windows 10 with little time spend on trying to launch them.

Yep. Though there are other sources from the time they were being given away by Rockstar. Probably not piracy, because they are more or less abandonware. Or you find a trader with an old GTA complete gift/key (they're still around, but of course expensive).

Sucks.. Wanted to get BTA for LA noire.. I have all the GTAs so not interested in T3..
I have to say.. T1 is so obviously made horrible so people would buy top tiers and BTA would sky rocket..

Rockstar doesnt have new games anyway. What else are they going to bundle than ancient games. Seriously - Full GTA bundle can be bought on steam itself for 10 bucks. I would bet most people have most of these games.
GTAV is too good of a chance to pass up to milk some thousand more dollars from people before we can expect to be in a bundle. Maybe GTA VI and GTA VII will be announced when theyll drop the price or bundle it.
Not that they care much about gamers anyway with their social club that is madness itself and their ban on mods. Their games age, their prices stay sky high. Reminds me strangely of activision. COD games are becoming older and older. Prices as they are high, remain high.

You'll end up buying Civ VI all over again once the definitive/complete edition of it releases. It's Paradox, after all.
This bundle doesn't even give you a good selection of the DLCs which are already out.
On the other hand, if you want Civ VI sooner rather than later, this is almost certainly the best price you'll get it at.
Rockstar has a distinct style to their games. If you enjoy them, but haven't played many of them, the bundle is reasonably priced for the large selection of games you get (as noted above, the GTA collection discounts to $10, so you're getting the three Max Payne games, Bully, Manhunt, LA Noire, and various DLCs for $5 over that. So if you've only played one or two, and have been wanting to try the rest, and are reasonably sure you'll enjoy them, then this is a solid deal. Likewise, Rockstar really isn't known for bundling, so it'll likely be a long while until you see something similar again. On the other hand, if you've doubts over the style of the games or have already played a fair number of them, you may be better off looking toward group-buys, trades, or future offers, to focus on the ones you do have strong interest in.

As for Rockstar bundle, i only targeting Bully and Max Payne, that's why i'm still hesitated for buying this one or not. On the other hand, CIV VI is on my wishlist, and i have to agreed with you for this one since they'll gonna release the new DLC soon. So, i thought they gonna release Complete edition in the next time. But, still don't know about the rest of monthly bundle game (and i really want to know).

as far as i know, no region lock on the keys - someone from countries can use a key, but (as far as nz goes) they are not allowed to distribute keys as game is banned... but a key would still be usable on an nz account

Humble gave me some region lock information for Tier 1 when I created gift links:
- Manhunt cannot be redeemed in AU, CU, DE, JP, NZ, SD, SG, SY, YE.
- Max Payne cannot be redeemed in FR, IT, RU.

Redeeming Max Payne keys might still work in FR. Inner-EU region locks aren't all that legal to begin with.
Also unsure if Humble mean to offer separate / different regional keys for this. They said not all keys have been added yet, maybe FR & IT customers will get some weird game version.
