Welcome to my first train. I loved FMV games back in the day and i want to share the love of this low budget interactive movies that tommy wissau wish had directed.

Train Lvl4+ only sorry :(

The first one i ever played was Grabriel Knight 2: The beast Within and the last one i played was Contradiction - the all-video murder mystery adventure. I recommend both you can find GK2 in gog and Contradictionin steam :)

Whats your favorite or the first FMV game you ever played?

Sherlock Holmes, Night Trap, hmmmm... some others I cannot recall anymore. And gratuitous use of FMV in non-primarily-FMV games, like 5 minute long title sequences, etc :)

The 7th guest! is a really good game, is a little slighted...

Wouldn't have remembered it until someone above me said Phantasmagoria, because it was the time we got a cdrom player and that was one of the first cd games we got.

I have very faded, maybe false memories of an old computer game where you're on a spaceship or a space station. It had some FMV scenes. I can't think of the name. Maybe I was just abducted by aliens..I don't know.

Would it be one of The Journeyman Project games? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Journeyman_Project

Possibly. It's certainly around the right time. I looked up some YouTube videos though and it doesn't really look like what I'm remembering.

Under a Killing Moon. In the age of floppy discs a game with 5 CDs...

I believe I've played my very first FMV game in 1995. It was "Fork in the Tale" and our guy was voiced by Rob Schneider himself. Then I played Hardline and never managed to finish it but it was great nonetheless. Phantasmagoria and Police Quest SWAT are some of the other great titles I've played.

The first, and so far only, FMV game that I played was Her Story - and I loved it :-)

Under a Killing Moon here as well. I never had it myself (I was a 3.5" disk drive peasant), but a friend had one of those fancy CD-readers, and he sucked at the problem solving, so he invited me to help him with the game :D Good times. Thanks for the train!

Rebel Assault 2 on PC was the first game I played with FMV in it, I think. Replayed it on Playstation semi-recently and had a nostalgia blast.

True! I played both rebel assaults and i loved when they use FMV in Dark Forces II :D

I forgot about Dark Forces 2. I actually played its sequel, Jedi Outcast(cannot stress how amazing that game was), first and more often, so I have a better memory of that one.

GK2 was mine, too. Great game, like all GK games. But it was very confusing playing it in german, since all of the language barrier scenes just dont work anymore ^^ You see Gabriel asking something in german and the other Person answers in german and Gabriel looks confused and says "I don't understand what he's saying"

I don't know if it qualifies as FMV, but Toonstruck is one my alll time favorite adventures. You should check it out.
