Games are for Wii U and 3DS and can only be redeemed in North, Central and South America.

What do you guys think of this ? I own neither a Wii U or a 3DS so I'm not interested in the bundle but I think it is a cool idea, or at least it would have been if it was not only for America. Also I would have prefered if this was a weekly bundle, now I have to wait 2 weeks again :(

I'm actually interested in it for the 3DS games and one of my housemates has a WiiU but Dat BTA....

console gamers are used to buy games even at higher prices, so 10$ for that much games is like ultra cheap with that conception, but BTA gonna be probably more than 10$ in future lol.

except it can't. last time something like this happened, they just fixed the bta tier to the tier 3 price. but of course if they'll raise the tier 3 price (never happened but this is a nintendo bundle so who knows what would happen), bta might pass $10.

It's neat that something like this is happening for consoles, but to make this a main bundle, have no PC versions for the games that are on PC, and (perhaps most importantly) the NA-only region lock...yeah, they only went in partially here.

Bloody Nintendo and their region-locking. I've regretted buying a Wii U partially because of that. I swear to God if their next console is region-locked I'll never buy it!

First today I found out you actually can't transfer Pokémons from Diamond to Omega Ruby without owning Black/White...
And now this. I was sooo happy untill "region lock."

Nintendo broke my heart twice today.

Well, Brazil has lower prices on Steam than the rest of South America. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose :P

@Sewaz:
On Steam, maybe... and only sometimes. Not every game on Steam is cheaper in my region.
And Console games here are really expensive. We pay twice as much as you do.
And we do earn less money than most of the other countries and pay more tax!

@01002920
You are right. And to make it worth, our government just approved a law making the taxes even higher than they were.

Humble made the deal with Nintendo America division. Eu division didn't have a clue about this. :)

Edit: We all know they don't like to share that's why their unofficial name is Nintendon't.

Yes, 3ds and wi u have region locks on their games.

Although I don't own any new Nintendo systems, I don't mind seeing a bundle like this. Sure, the region lock sucks for those who cannot purchase, but that is totally Nintendo's call, not HB. I don't think one can get that many 3DS/WiiU games for 10 bucks (I don't have a clue about nintendo game prices though) which explains why the BTA price is nearly 10 already.

They will never bundle Pokemon just like Square Enix won't bundle any Final Fantasy game, they know it sells, that is what keeps them financially fed.

Pokemon is not Indie mate, Humble bundle promotes indie games, and sometimes makes deals with AAA publishers so we get third rate games like saints row and scribblenauts

Points at THQ, Origin bundle, Uplay might and magic bundle, Square Enix, Sega, WB, Deep Silver, Telltale Games.

But when they contact AAA publishers things go down with a bang.

None of those are the true issues here, the issue, at least for me, is that they made this a main bundle.

Nintendo's consoles and digital games are all region locked. Humble probably had the chance to do something cool (a bundle with Nintendo), and they decided to do it, even if they can't do it as well as they'd like. I live in North America and have both consoles, so I think this bundle is great, but Humble should at least look into running parallel bundles for other regions.

Humble Nintendo Bundle - no Nintendo games

You misread the name. Humble "Nindie" Bundle.

I assume Nintendo wants to prove they're indie-developer friendly. Now these are all games that would look good in a regular PC-based indie bundle for sure (and at least have been in one: Guacamelee, OlliOlli & Steamworld Dig).
But still. Region-locking, seriously ?

I'm p***** that Humble would even offer region-locked bundle as its main bundle. There's no reason why NoA and NoE couldn't have worked together to provide their own sets of keys.

This actually might be a good move for Nintendo. You don't see many games on their platforms receive big sales. Or maybe they do and I haven't seen them yet.

True, but it's going to put extra scrutiny on their "region-lock everything" policy. Although if their lack of response from the epic failure of the Splatoon Global Testfire last week is any indication, they won't care.

Shame of the region locking. This would be a very cool bundle.
