Horror and FPS... Sooo, All the counter strikes, Cyrsis games, Silent Hill Homecoming, Dead Space games, Killing Floor games, Evil Within, Resident Evil 4, call of duty 1,2, and 4 (world at war), Borderlands games, Far Cry games, Obscure games, Condemned games, and that's all I can remember or know of on steam. I'd recommend more but I don't remember, need my wish list and don't think you would want to bother with a emulator for more games because Silent Hill Origins is a must play, and I'd recommend more like Flatout games and Death Skid Marks but you did say horror and first person shooters are your favourite, so, yeah, there. All that I mentioned is on steam, on PS3 and maybe 4 a must have is the Killzone and Resistance games.

Bully Scholarship Edition or Penumbra Collectors Pack or Valiant Hearts: The Great War. These are my top 3 favorite games. Penumbra is horror, so that's what you'll mostly like.

SOMA, I finished that few weeks ago and I really enjoyed, really a cool game.

Doom 3 BFG Edition without hesitation. Great design, brutality and horror at the same time : sure it isn't as great as the last Doom, but it's a lot more creepy, and still really cool.

Half-Life 2, HL2 Episode 1 and HL2 Episode 2. A cult game series you MUST have played. A great FPS, with good gameplay, horror parts, great story, great characters, great design...

The Witcher Series is great (if you skip the first one)

definitively my best recommendation is the whole batman franchise.
but since you are looking for horror and fps, as fps I recommend borderlands franchise and far cry franchise.
you may also want to check payday 2, portal franchise, dishonored definitive, wolfenstein franchise, dying light and verdun.
about horror, I can only recommend outlast, dead by daylight and dead realm.
