I'm sorry that this doesn't help you at all and I see someone else mentioned it already but the pistol in the first Halo game was incredible. Before I clicked in, I didn't realize why you were asking :)

I dig the Tec 9 and the Five SeveN in CSGO. Both look like they'd be fun as hell to shoot IRL

The M1911, I pick it in every game that I find it in, even if its not the best one. Can't go wrong with a classic.

This is usually a terrible idea but a good impulse buy would obviously be a deagle, not because it's a good gun but because it's a good impulse buy gun.
Technically pistol length ARs are pistols, go build one.

More on topic, my favorite pistols in CS:GO are the Tec-9 and the Five Seven. Have fun burning a hole in your wallet with the Five Seven's special snowflake ammo and price if you choose to buy one.

My favorite pistol in GTA IV TBOGT was the gloriously pretty Automag .44, which you will never find anywhere ever in real life. Same goes with any Mateba, especially the Unica 6, which is a wonderfully pretty gun in BF.

Couldn't tell you. Never bought a gun on impulse. It's always been a thought out thing. Even if I find one I like, I have to try it, know that it fits my hand, and research the manufacturer. I personally don't like the feel of a glock, but most 1911's fit like a glove.

My fav is the LEO pistol from Payday2.

The RL counterpart is the HS2000 which in the USA is sold as the Springfield Armory XD (http://www.wikiarms.com/guns?q=Springfield+Armory+XD )

Feels like someone played too much GTA... or maybe escaped from the game itself and is looking for an Ammu-Nation.
