Reward for #1 game gifter of the day or week

There should be one. Maybe double points for gifter of the day, and double points for gifter of the week? Say, you can only win the daily bonus once per weeks. It would be a good way to encourage people to donate games, which is good all-around.

I agree in principle, but how do you do this without also creating an incentive to create fake giveaways or other scams?

Agreed on both. I doubt very much either Glapos or Torian care about their points, I don't think Glapos has ever entered a giveaway and Torian doesn't enter many.
Together they would probably encompass 90% of the top givers per day/week.

Beyond that, I doubt very many people have any difficulty maintaining points in the hundreds so more points isn't much reward.
