I got this key for the 007 Legends key. Is this worth anything, or only tradable worth something?

Depends on the person you trade with.
Or, rather, it depends on the market.
My general understanding, however, is that tradables are worth comparatively more.

But the question is, do online retailers still have Steam keys for sale, and the answer is no.

There are also very few people trading / selling them on the black market.

Well, as I said, it's still (legaly) available here. Since there is some stock left from the first shipping.

Secondary market may be a better descriptor. Black market should only be used to refer to a market concentrating on illegal merchandise.

As Doobs said, tradeables are worth more. Giftable copies are safe to trade for other giftable copies.

When trading a key, trust is required. Be extremely careful of who you trade with, and try to find someone well-known to act as middleman if a key is involved.

I did many trades, and never got scammed... but yeah, this is no guarantee for futher trades ;)
Just wondering if I should buy the retail version here, since it has Steam keys for the game. I might get one for myself, but not sure if it is worth buying another copy. Its around 50$, so alot of money^^ But standard retail price.

Tradeables are worth more, but as that is a relatively rare game it is pretty valueable. I can't tell you quite how valueable, but I would be extremely cautious about listening to the valuation of someone that wants to trade with you since there are a LOT of sharks out there.

Yeah, I know that. Limited amount of copies makes the game pretty valuable, even if the game itself is not that great.

Yeah, he means retail, and I am pretty sure retail cd-keys activate on Steam. That's pretty much the only way you are going to get a copy now other than finding someone with a tradeable.
