If he hasn't got his verification e-mail then make sure he looks in his spam folder, etc. Otherwise, from what I recall the other guys advice was spot on.

Thanks. He seems to be a long time user here, so I am assuming he is stuck on Step 2 for some reason, but the more information the better in any case. I linked him this thread so he can also take a look and participate if he wants to.

Hello, folks. One of the winners in my giveaway train is having issues redeeming the game.
I generated a gift link in IndieGala and sent the gift via email, but when he tries to verify his email to get the game, it says "email not verified". I am very new to IndieGala myself and I need some help figuring out why.
Does a user need to have an IndieGala account to redeem a single key gifted to them from another user of the site? Is it possible the winner just does not have an account there? If so, will creating an account using the email address he tried to verify enable them to get the game by doing the process again after registration?
I did not warm folks about the need to have an account there on my giveaways, since I did not know myself if it was necessary.
Any tip or help is appreciated, although I also offered to contact IndieGala support on the winner's behalf, if he does not want to go through the trouble.
