Some of you probably arleady traded something on SteamTrades. So, my question is ... how do you get to your games that you trade? Do you buy them and then trade them or do you win them in a giveaway (which we are not allowed to trade them) or something else? Thanks :D

Buying them, trading other games or in-game items (tf2 or dota 2) for them, Steam giveaways like the one during the last winter sale, etc.
