games with no SG giveaway option, is this common?

I have a lot of old keys, (like dino d-day and weird worlds return to infinte space) that refuse to populate in SG when I try to create a giveaway for them.

Is this normal, am I doing it wrong?

I don't really care if I get contributor value for them, but it appears I can't give them away at all.

anyone have any idea why?

It means that the game was given away for free at some point in time. They get removed from the GA as otherwise people will spam GAs for them to increase their CV.

I'm not sure but it could be that they were just being given for free on promotion some time ago. They just remove them from the site when that happens to avoid those giveaways being created. Again, I'm not sure if that is the case.
