Dont know how you think this is not a giveaway when they giveaway a key, but according to the rules its not allowed:

You're completely misunderstanding the context.
I didn't even say it wasn't a GA. I was rather specifically referring to using it in SG GAs.
Your posting of that rule also classifies it as a 3rd party GA, which effectively has no purpose or function within an SG GA. This being in a thread was just informative.
And that didn't specifcally say gleam links. That would include all other discussions of such deals within the forum which would already be in trouble now that they exist. That would just be extremely unhelpful.

Those giveaways are really annoying. They are spamming the DLC page. Some of the profiles giving this DLC, created 50 giveaways and are still at level 0.

I checked out of curiosity, and I found one person with 300 giveaways and less than 20.00 real contributor value. That's the sort of thing one gets by mindlessly feeding chaff into the system.
