Well as 2 others have already pointed out, easier way to get members is to make a giveaway, make it last idk 2 weeks or longer, for your group members only. Forgive everyone for not believing someone who registered 3 hours ago, but it just smells fishy.
Also, you say you want to make a successful group which is your reason for not making a giveaway now, correct? Well how does offering a giveaway later make it any more successful?

If you were actually planning on giving away anything, why wouldn't you make it a group-only giveaway here on SteamGifts? It is a giveaway site, after all.

And people should just trust that when you giveaway the game that you aren't actually just picking the person yourself? Most likely one of your friends winning.

When you create a giveaway you have the option to select group only. Just select your group.
