Darksiders vs Darksiders 2

I am just about done with Darksiders....thought this was the best game I have played in a long time. The reviews for DS2 are a bit mixed, was wondering if you have played both games what you think about the new one.

DS2 is better... i like the main character more then in DS

U played both games 2-3 hours. Ive played first one and finished it. Loved every minute Id played, puzzle story, unlockables.. Dont have ds 2 yet, waiting for a sale, can't help u here

i finished the first game too. ever heard of retail games or other things... you only see my steam games buddy. and why i played first ds on steam, cause i need to, to get a unlockable in ds2.

The first Darksiders was Steamworks. The retail version requires Steam.

The repetitive part is true, too much of the same to fill gametime.
The horse was far too slow which makes this all the more ridiculous:

Meh...I hate repetitive...the horse speed boost sounds like they should have just made the horse faster to begin with, or maybe update it...one thing I noticed, there seems to be a steady stream of dlc that is not included in their "season pass" Thanks for your answer.

I finished both games already.I'm absolutely sure, second game is much better.It has everything on first game and more.You won't regret buying it.

I think DS is better imo, cuz the game lenght is perfect, and in DS2 the game lenght is omg i became bored after a time, but kept playing cuz wanted to see the end but man, i couldnt finish it cuz it was so long and boring after a time.

DS 2 is amazing. More RPG and not for real open world.
I finished it and I can say. This game is AWESOME.

love the parkour in darksiders 2. although i have the game since release, i haven't really played it much but its honestly way better than darksiders that's for sure.
