Origin fails so hard! (question)

Never happened to me that the download stops...try reinstalling origin? Or maybe it's your connection

Uninstall it, problem solved ;) If suck so much why you dont give up trying?

Well now seriously, origin isnt that bad, its just overloaded because the humble bundle, but it still dam stupid having a client origin that requires a browser to start up battlefield...

Er... I downloaded over 20 GB on origin in the past 2 days. Din't have a problem.

I had this problem a few months ago with mass effect 3, it went away in a few days though and returned to normal speed. Maybe the issue is also the millions of people downloading games from buying the humble bundle?

it took me about an hour-2 hours to download Battlefield 3, i dont know what could be the problem on your side..

Origin has a lot to learn, that's for sure. The client restarted my PC without warning or asking while installing (absolutely hate it!), then messed around with downloads from the start, saying BF3 was 50 (fifty!) GB to download, then changed several times before settling on 20ish GB. Never stopped the actual download though. The fact that BF3 requires a browser start is so lame. The game itself isn't bad so far (campaign), but the real test will be online.

Think about the amount of people that have bought the bundle and is downloading now the game ...

Sometimes Origin download speed is too low here. So i pause it and resume, never had to restart the program to do that...

i think you need some opened ports that origin uses, google it

There are currently a minimum of 6.000.000 keys being sold by Humble Bundle. You are not the only one that wants to play their bought games.

Er.. When in doubt, always blame yourself first, unless Origin has preferential treatment, its your Internet connection thats the problem

Same problem here, and i had this problem for 2 years already (bought Bad Company 2, only battlefield i've ever had). Cant download ANYTHIGN from origin, it just freezes every 15-20 min.
