OK, this might be a stupid thing to ask, but why is the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle worth 5P, while only Frozen Synapse is worth 25P? I don't get the logic behind this. Is it because most people paid $0.01 for the bundle? I get that the system runs based on how much the game is worth on the Steam store, but I still find this odd, because you waste more points, yet you receive only one game.

I'm sorry if this was mentioned in another thread.

The frozen synapse steam gift copy is worth more because it was purchased for full price.
Frozen synapse bundle was on average 5$.

Good answer. However paying 25$ gets you 2 Frozen Synapse copies, right? So it's still not very accurate.

But you can't get 1 copy for $12.5, can you?

Indeed you can't, BUT you CAN make a 1 copy Frozen Synapse giveaway on SteamGifts and it will still be worth 25P...

But when you buy the game you will always get the extra copy(s) stored into your inventory

I see your point but I also see it as kind of a non-issue. Humble Bundles, as far as I can tell, were just attributed a random ass point value that may have been based of the average price or just the flood of giveaways being hosted here.

It is what it is, sorry if you're really trying to just win Frozen Synapse and it's draining all your points.

Naw, no worries, I was just pointing it out. I have the game and it's not a problem for me, but it just feels sort of unfair towards others. But hey, it's a still a free game, so I ain't got any right to complain.

The bundles are a bit of an 'oddity' and don't really fit the points system devised here very well. I think the admins have tried to come up with reasonable solutions to the problem though.
