No idea if they are in sale -50% but if you like puzzle : Tick Tock: A Tale for Two & The We were here series (3 games, first one free)
Raft is very fun in coop (long to get the 90% achievements)
Hope that help, sorry if they aren't with -50% sales

hi, thanks for the suggestion, but
Raft is not split-screen local coop. Only -30% right now but as base price not high that wouldn't be a problem.
I love puzzle games, but for this day and tomorrow I would like some more action-packed and not logic-oriented games (alcohol does not help on that :-D)

This one is epic.

Yeah, like my mum. She only calls people and text them. Have no reason to use internet whatsoever, so she has Nokia 216 or similar.
Shops have now those mobile apps that give you points. So I had to start account on my phone, make screenshot of app bar code and print it for her. So she can use promotions without owning smartphone.

I see BattleBlock Theater is already on the list.
The previous game Castle Crashers is pretty good too.
Trine series
Brothers - A tale of two sons isn't technically a local co-op game, but you can play it as such, I did it that way with my brother, it was great.
ibb & obb as long as you don't try to go for 100% achivs

Well I can only suggest my experiences, you are free to choose what you like from them. :D Have fun with brothers!

Pummel Party is a great option, but just -34% right now (I am waiting for a better discount to get that one).
I can't think another one right now (I could come back later).
If being cute is not a requirement, games like Road Redemption, Redeemer or Gauntlet would be a good option.

If you love playing Overcooked, you might like this one. It's still a cooking game but different - instead of running around preparing ingredients and cooking stuff, you'll be moving the food items themselves by "possessing" them. I'd say the game can be quite challenging to play. Besides supporting local co-op, it has full controller support; it looks cute; and it's currently sold at a 50% discount :)
Brunch Club - Feel free to check out my review of the game and the gameplay vid if you like :) The game's rather underrated I'd say. However, I can't comment much about the achievements since I'm not an achievement hunter myself but seems like the game has 2 hard achievements? They are both at 0% earned but you should be able to get to 90% Completed at the very least!
Another fun, recently-released (last month) co-op for your wishlist since it's not currently on a 50% discount.
Tools-up - It's very similar to Overcooked (so the game's cute for sure) but with a home decor theme. Has local co-op and controller support. There are 2 achievements that can be harder to get in this game too since one of them requires you to have 4 local co-op players playing and the other requires you to get all the other achievements.
Hope this helps!

Adding one more here - Unrailed!. I've enjoyed playing the game (though, I would really recommend against playing it "solo", as in you controlling both characters... it's just too hectic) and it's cute+has local co-op, but from the store page, it states that the game only has partial controller support - not really sure what that means because I've always been a keyboard-and-mouse person.
Achievement-wise, you might want to double check if it's possible for you to grind your way to getting >90% or even a 100%.
Game's 25% off at the moment so if you'd like, you can wishlist the game first as well.

Hi,
sorry, no giveaway right now, no time to look for something decent from my key stock.
I looking for local-coop games if you played any in past or know any please share me some.
Requirements:
-it must be on -50% sale at least right now on steam
-cute game
-no stupid achievements like do a full run in one life etc, I eventually will try to get the game to 90%+ so it not ruin my AVGC totally (yes, I have a stupid and weird addiction)
-fun
-ok for steam controllers (not sure about you guys but my friends+me also have issues to move the camera with controllers, so preferably games where it not needed to change camera or visible direction, so perhaps games like Cuphead or Lego games, but don't recommend this :-)
or just a curator recommendation that has a list of cute, enjoyable local coop games.
Thanks girls/guys
