I just got a gift out of nowhere?

Well, there should be a name/avatar at the end of the gift email?
Usually when you accept a gift it automatically makes you and the gifter friends on Steam, so any new friends? Maybe an existing one wanted to surprise you?

Yes there is absolutely no Email. I won something yesterday which was sent via Steam and I know how it is supposed to look, with a little message and a nice picture of the game etc. But it just said "You've got a new Item" and it was there without me doing anything.

I'm also 100% positive that I'm not registered anywhere else, didn't even know about these sites that got mentioned.

Since you guys don't seem to know something like this happening I'm now getting a little worried, maybe I should change my password :)

Also it would be nice to know how send me this to thank the person!

Did you check the Won section just encase? I've had the site bug and not show the green banner/no inclination that I had won a giveaway.
