Also, depending on the age of people playing, I would recommend Mother Russia Bleeds. It's a neat side-scroller beat 'em up that has some very dark and disturbing content.

Aside from new games, I'd suggest running a filter on your account and looking at the games with the local co-op/multiplayer tag. you might have something cool you forgot you had.

• Group 1 - Fighting each other: Road Redemption, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Gang Beasts, Crawl, Nidhogg
• Group 2 - Going together: METAL SLUG series, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Rampage Knights, Guns, Gore & Cannoli, Broforce, BattleBlock Theater, Castle Crashers.
• Group 3 - RPG: Magicka 1, Magicka 2
• Group 4 - Puzzle: Trine series.

Beside them, mostly fighting and racing games are also not a bad choice. Honestly there are many more, but I don't even have time to check, what's friend anw, I don't need them （ ゜ヮ゜）ノ

Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed!

All of my playtime has been with one or more person playing right beside me.

The LEGO games are always good fun to play co-op. All of them are great (in my opinion), so you can just pick whatever one interests you most.

I played Nation Red and Hammerwatch with my friend - really fun. Also Lego games are always good.

No local co-op comes to my mind, but I remember playing singleplayer games when one was using keyboard and the other one was using mouse, it was fun and we had a good laugh lol
