Will you dock your ship into this bundle?

[T1] I drew the short straw this month: I'm limited to a $1 purchase.
[BTA] The time to expand my Steam Galactic Empire has finally arrived.
[T3] I bet that the BTA will Escalate quite a bit. Bettersecure that Tier 3 from the start.
[Have] Any strategy / 4x fan should already have these in their repertoire.
[Skip] I will strategically avoid bunying it, thus saving some money.

T3 content would be worth for me at T2, but in this form this bundle is very hard skip...

BTA was 5.56€ at the drop if anyone cares. Did not see it go below it.

Yep, I have a tab open at $6 USD just for the heck of it.

I'd recommend T2, GC3 is a really nice game with these expansions.
I probably won't buy anything, considering that I miss only one DLC and Star Control seems pretty meh.

Still couldn't get myself to really play strategy in recent years, so I don't even know how good it is, but not interesting right now.
I guess I'll watch some gameplay about Dead Man's Draw, but I still have unplayed cardgames.
Likely a very neutral skip

Let me know if you want Dead Man's Draw, adam, I have a key left from when they gave it away recently.

Its interesting that now Galactic Civilizations III is only sold & offered as a sub with DLC as of 5 months ago. That basically makes irrelevant any historic low prior to end of October 2019. So looking at sales of that game since then, the new historic low under the sub with DLC became $12 USD.

That makes T2 a new historic low even at BTA that's currently $8.19 USD, though anyone not new to bundles would likely find the 80% discount to be kinda weak unless they give any value to T1.

All that observations is my way of working through figuring out whether or not I want to buy T2 because...

I own all the major base games, but none of the DLC...ugh

I can recommend this bundle to some people who have like 2 or less of the major base games, but my big backlog is telling me to pass.

Galactic Civilizations III is a solid 4x space-game, and this bundle comes with all the major DLCs for it.
Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation is a solid RTS (one may want to check whether rig is equipped for them system requirements tho).
Star Control: Origins I haven't played (yet), but it seems nice that they are including the paid DLCs in the bundle.

So quite nice bundle, despite it coming mostly down to these three games "only".

There's stuff in there I want, but I own too much of it overall to make the buy.

This ^. I am only missing 1 DLC in T2 and 2 items in T3. Not worth it as my backlog is so large I have not even started it.

Exactly. I'm missing a little more in T3, but not enough to sway me. (And I've got Star Control I-III on GOG, which is close enough for me.)

gotta admit, those Star Controls look tempting to me. Well... Except Star Control 3. That one was bad to begin with, and I doubt it has aged well.

damn i used to love playing star control 2 on 3do when i was a kid. i sucked at it and never got close to beating it, but it's a super unique game that was wayyy ahead of its time. i actually had no idea it was even on steam, unfortunately though this version doesn't have voice acting.

Such a shame I already have the T1 and T2. DLC would be nice but it’s all in one key for T2.

One game and 3 of its major DLCs, just as one key. The table feels pretty misleading at the BTA ( RaChart shows it's an incomplete pack for me as it is a sub, but name-wise it really does look like a single game)

All the tiers are hard to justify since Galactic III was free/ bundled a ton as was Ashes of Singularity, unless you really want Star Control.

Really only want the Star Control DLC, and I'm pretty sure I can get it for less during a Steam sale.
I could do without the 1990's games entirely. I played 90's games during the 90's ...

Thanks anyway for the thread and stay safe and healthy.
