So i notice many, MANY people are buying the new bundle but are getting rid of the game "Wurm"
Now It looks like a decent game and it does not really have bad reviews. Why are many people giving it away though?

If I had to guess, I'd say they're sick of open world survival games with crafting, and I can't blame them.

Huh, isn't this an MMO?

Edit: Nevermind, educated myself a bit. Is it a survival game though?

I should have written MMORPG but I'm lazy, and old. I'm thinking World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online

Well, I tried it out once in solo. I'd say it looks like a decent game on videos (thats why it got my attention), but not actually that good. I found the controls, UI and the gameplay so terrible and unfriendly, I played like 10-15 minutes before I gave up and I learned nothing about how the game actually works. In any decent game it's more than enough time to learn the basics.

Well, I got the bundle for Guild of Dungeoneering and Endless Legend.
After reading the reviews of Wurm on steam I decided to giveaway. The reason is this game is another of those games that "you can build anything" it just takes 100 hours (like duzens of games like ARK and so on) and it serves no purpose because the actual gameplay is nonexistent or shallow. So instead of keeping a game that I never gonna play, maybe someone else can have fun with it.

Wurm Unlimited - a game not made for modern Gaming community.

This part from one of the Steam reviews probably explains a lot

For me the building, sandbox and similar tags are instant turn-offs, so if I would buy it, I would give it away as well as the many others.

was watching this earlier and apparently the game is based on this
at least that's what he said on the video

personal thoughts: I'm actually going to try the game but probably not gonna enter all those GA because I can save that precious 30 points for something else
looks decent and fun but I guess it might get boring without anyone to play with

Mixed reviews, and the reasons behind them, MMO and cv.

Plenty of people giving away Borderlands, but noone is going to ask either if that might be a bad game..

I just saw the trailer on store page and was really excited, love that kind of games, but after seeing the carriage moving with magic i closed the page instantly.

It's my most played game on Steam, so I obviously enjoyed it.

I played exclusively multiplayer on a mostly PvE server. It probably goes without saying, but picking a good server is very important. You want to choose one that has a skill gain setting that you'll enjoy (some make skill gains extremely slow, which can lead to a lot of grinding, while others are extremely fast, but can then result in running out of stuff to do). As is the case with most games like this, you also want a well populated server - I quit playing when the server I was on mostly died out. I will say that the UI is very dated, and does take quite a bit of getting used to, but I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like the genre.

i looked at the steam reviews and the trailers and it really doesn't look like something i would enjoy.
there are SO many sandbox games out there and there's really no need to go for the ones below average.

I've played wurm for YEARS! It's an awesome game but it's extremely niche. It has an incredibly detailed crafting system but it is very slow paced. The kind of game you tinker away at with Netflix on the second screen.
