Uplay keys on Steam Giveaway ?

Hello, I want to ask if I am allowed to create giveaways with Uplay keys, on Steam Gifts ?

UPlay keys no.
Steam keys for games that use the UPlay DRM yes.

I dont think there are Steam keys if it has uplay as DRM, gifts are possible :P

Far Cry 3 is in my Steam library and is also shown in the SteamGifts list of games and it launches via uPlay. When you run it in Steam it launches uPlay and you launch the game from in there. It has both the Steam overlay and uPlay overlay and both say in-game: Far Cry 3

It wasn't a gift though. It was bought in-store. I redeemed the key in Steam and when it ran I had to put the same key into uPlay. It's not just gifts with dual DRM

Weird, thought all Far Cry 3 retail copies came with an Uplay key. Oh well :p

You took BOTH keys without even owning the game? :/ If you did,then you are a real dick. I doubt you'll even get AC4 on UPlay

I dont know how its works on Uplay, I dont have an Uplay account to know if you can redeem if you dont have the base game...

Redeemed without the game ?? And I hope you understand these won't work on AC4 unless you get it under Uplay.. not under Steam. Even though the Steam version requires Uplay.. it manages DLCs seperatly.
