Hi everyone!

My partner & I have this game that we've been working on for very nearly 1 year (two days until its development birthday!), it's our first Unity project and we're getting really close to the finish line. Fantasy Bump's the name, and it plays like... well, imagine an oldschool Final Fantasy world tipped on its side and turned into a party game. A bunch of unique job classes, tons of different stages & game modes, hugely colourful everything in a 16-bit style, oodles of cute sprites :D

Anyone remember Jump 'n Bump on DOS? The endearingly violent bunny battler with Dott, Jiffy, Fizz, and Mijji? That's the big inspiration gameplay-wise, it's one of my partner Ty's favourites. In fact, he whipped up the initial prototype because Jump 'n Bump was putting up a fuss and programming his own custom take was seemingly easier than sorting out the compatibility issue, haha.

If you have a minute, I was wondering if anyone on SG would be so kind as to take a look and let me know what you think. It's up on Greenlight, so as shameless as it feels to link to a Greenlight page, there's a nice trailer and a bunch of screenshots to check out if you're feeling curious. Any and all feedback is appreciated, and you'd be doing us a huge favour with your vote (even an honest downvote!).

Fantasy Bump's Greenlight page

Thank you for taking the time to read this, hope you like what you see and please do share your feedback. We're going to be exhibiting the game at a local comic convention a couple weekends from now, really excited to get people playing this thing :)

P.S. I've been getting my feet wet here on SG with a few mini giveaways of my solo project Gigachess, there's one running right now if you want to enter!

looks interesting and the trailer is fun
not my usual style of game but I'd probably grab it (and actually play it) bundled

not getting the extra-nostalgia factor as I've never even heard of that DOS game until now, I imagine it would play more heavily to other fellow fans.
Don't really have much else in terms of feedback, best o' luck to ye guys at your showing. Folks at cons can be a fickle, hurried lot so IMHO have cards or QR codes on hand for interested folk as they pass.

Thank you for the kind words and taking a look, very much appreciated! Cheers for the tip about what to expect from folks at the con. I sent off a set of card designs for printing last week that got delivered just yesterday. Crappy photo here: http://i.imgur.com/A2XE6B4.jpg

Just wanted to do a gentle bump and share a link to a recent build of Fantasy Bump if anyone wanted to take it for a spin: http://gigatross.com/fantasybump/fbump_021216.zip. This is a lot newer than the webplayer version linked to on the Greenlight page but it's missing the roaming monsters (which are temporarily turned off) and Grand Chase & Tourney Royale modes aren't quite there yet. Controls are really simple, WASD or arrow keys and ESC resets the game. If you give the game a play, I'd really love to know what you think! :D

( Some simple debug commands: F1 to go straight to the overworld stage select, F2 to add more bots and F9 to force a round to finish )

A friendly bump for the sake of sharing some photos from that comic convention mentioned in the OP, it was tons of fun and went really well! Everyone got a kick out of Fantasy Bump, we gathered a heap of great feedback and it was super helpful to get a live read on the player experience like that.

If you want to check it out, have a peek at the gallery up on Imgur: http://imgur.com/a/bQMqf. Thank you for looking :)
