Exactly, that's wasting of time. In this case it is not so bad because if you use google, it will take you just few minutes. Hovewer to do a hard puzzle several tens minutes or even a few hours and then to find out that you have or don't want the game sucks.

I generally don't see a benefit in maybe making some people do a puzzle, that they'd otherwise ignore if they knew the game, just so that they'll be disappointed later, when they finally see what has been kept secret.

You are right. And also some people who would like to have the game even won't try because they don't know that the game is there.
The most enjoying case for me is when people know what game is there, don't want the game, however they will do the quiz anyway. There are also people like this. It means the people truly enjoy the quizes.
I was just curious if there will be more entries because, theoretically, some people who would not do a quiz because of a game could entry the "secret GA" just because they would say "well, after the hard work, I will join it because else it would be wasting of time". But in fact, these people are not worth, because because of them the people who really want the game have smaller chance to win.
I won't make any other secret GA. Thanks for you opinion. :)

What a coincidence, I just finished reading the book adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Perhaps I should've waited for the Definitive Collector's Edition... but I'm fine with this anyway.

I made another quiz. This time it is again about Harry Potter movies or books. I didn't want to make another quiz about this again but it is a good opportunity for me to make a little experiment.
I won't tell you what game I offer this time. I want to compare the entries and reactions with the first quiz about it. I myself don't like it when someone makes a puzzle and don't tell us what game they offer but I visited some puzzles where authors didn't say it too and it didn't look like people were angry or something like that. Maybe I will get few new blacklists from disappointed people but who cares. Nowadays I am a bit more optimistic about blacklists for making quizes, because I believe that most of these "heroes" are just leechers who don't make any GAs anyway.
The system is easy. All you have to do is to add one by one the correct numbers/letters of the right answers to the base address https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/ and add slash to the end. So that the final address would look similar like, for example, https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/C7bNV/
Level restriction is set to 2+. The size of letters does matter so think of it. I highly recommend using copy/paste (ctrl+c and ctrl+v).
