Well, I give up. Using SAM to simulate the run of the game doesn't work and I can't install 30GB with my internet speed just to run the game once. Also, my actual PC doesn't have enough performance to run it.

Maybe that's it. Tried it yesterday and today but no success. Even contacted support about it but have had not response up until now.
Edit: by the way, for anyone interested, if you subscribe to their newsletter you get a 10% off coupon that you can use on top of the regular discount. Just confirm you can buy the game before, because I used mine and the purchase didn't go through, and now it says the coupon is invalid. you can just register another email for another coupon

I had any issues redeeming the game.
It has 2 conditions to be elegible to redeem the game.
1 Own a copy of Dying Light
2 Have played it, not idling. I think you need to have at least one achivement unlocked

If you don't own Dying Light, you can take advantage of the free weekend that's currently going on.
Just download it and RUN it. Then you will get the banner on the website and the key for Bad Blood :)

I vaguely remember a while ago Techland gave away Developer Tools as part of a User created content competition.
At first everybody thought it was the full game because it was displayed in the Library like that and when they realized it wouldn't let them launch the game because there was one executable missing people started sharing torrent links for that 1 missing file.
Other people were understandably disgusted; because a dev tries to do something nice, and what do we SteamGifters do? We try to steal from them; and the thread got closed because it's forbidden to promote piracy here but since you mentioned 1 missing executable it reminds me a lot of that.
Maybe the thread got deleted or Title changed because when I search the forums for Dying Light or Asset kit I come up empty.
Edit1: Nevermind, the thread still exists but it's probably better not to link it.
Edit2: Actually on 2nd thought since all the torrent links have been removed it should be fine to link the thread. Nothing wrong with activating the Developer Tools. The morally questionable part came later namely trying to turn a Dev Kit into a working game with pirated files.

Yeah, according to your attempt to contact the giveaway creator that's exactly what happened here.
Given that it was a fake giveaway and you correctly marked it as not received you are free to remove the licence from your account so you can (re)add it with the free weekend.
Edit: Daaaaamn... that guy had a long track record of fake giveaways 😅
