Question about creating a giveaway

Hi, I'm a new member here and I have a question.

The thing is that a friend of mine gifted me with DLC for a game I don't have, when I told him I didn't have the game he told me to do what ever I wanted with the DLC.

So I have the link to redeem the game, can I create a giveaway and then send the link to the winner or is it against the rules?

Yep, that is perfectly acceptable! Just forward the gift email on to the winner.
