i think yes... the game is very good. have so many servers and moded too. if you go obn steam stats you will seee its on top 5 games on steam! but you can wait for CS:GO

I'm in the same situation and I think I'm gonna wait.

There is still the summer sale AND later the release of CS GO ahead. I bet there will be great deals on CSS in both case so I'll take my chances.

On a price tracking website I also found out that the CS complete pack was reduced to €5.50 ish in the past.

Even though as a game CSS is a fairly good game, the community is awful. Really, it sucks so bad. TF2 is free but for some reason still manages to have a mostly healthy community. And I know COD community is even worse and etc. Doesn't make CSS better, only less awful in comparison.

if you have small screen go for 1.6 but CSS is better on fullHD (need to find good community server)
