CS:GO. Don't think I have to say much more about it.
Minecraft used to be a game I played for hours on end when I was younger (2011-2013) and I've attempted to play it on several occasions, but I've just lost interest in the game altogether.
Age of Empires 2 is my favourite all-time game, but just haven't played it in quite a while. Still an absolute master piece tho.

100% sure my Go-To game at the moment is World of Tanks (although I don't play it that much anymore at the moment), I have over 1000 hours in that game XD

Heroes of the Storm. Always my "second game I'm playing at the moment".

Most time played would be in Action RPG's starting with Diablo I till Diablo III, Path of Exile and lately Grim Dawn (others too but definitely not as much) and (modded) Minecraft I keep returning to 2-3 times a year for a few weeks.

I also love Majesty, but from my point of view, it is frustrating and very intense (just like Total Annihilation).
Anyway, for this thread, UFO defense would most likely be the game. I just pick one armoured vehicle (mobile cover / scout) and infantry equipped with ac:he and storm everything. I might also play "Tycoon" games (mostly transport and industry related) or Cultures / Black & White.

X-COM: I don't know what you people think about replayability, but for me there's never not the moment to start a new game. With the Enemy Unknown DLC and the achievements is tons of fun granted.
Also, even though I always stop playing for some months and then coming back, Mount and Blade Warband. I'd say replayability is endless in this one.
Oh well, also 250 hours on Skyrim, strange that nobody metioned it yet.

Death Skid Marks - Shooting at cars and passengers and ramming them into the side of the screen never stops being fun. I might stop going back to this game once I manage to beat it with all cars. Then again... there are modes I haven't tried yet and harder difficulties so I might start playing those once I beat normal difficulty with all cars.

I'm really interested in knowing your absolute favorite games that you always can "go-to" when you're bored. These are the games that you can play anytime, over and over again, and constantly find enjoyment.
This doesn't include games that you played a few times and stopped. Even if the game was great the first time you played it. Great examples of this would be The Stanley Parable (outstanding game but lacks replayability after completing all the endings) and Tell-Tale games.
