It can be "pay to win" if you want to do it that way, but most people don't. I've not put a lot of time into it myself, but I did enjoy it when I did play. It's pretty easy to just jump in, but sometimes the balance is very off in respect to teams. Its one of those you just gotta give a try to and see how it fits your gaming style. I've only got time for one multiplayer FPS, so not really something Id play a lot but from a neutral perspective its a decently made game and seems to have some very dedicated players.

Speaking for myself alone, am still pretty bad at RO2 so won't really bother with something that has had so many complaints about it's pay to win system. So even if it might not be as bad as it's promoted, I'll just stick to RO2 and improve my game there.

Gotcha, I did try a couple of rounds and it definitely seemed kind of unfair at points. The germans had airplanes and we were just infantry getting strafed. Seems cool but I'm not sure I can put in the time it will take to unlock everything. Thanks for the info guys!

Hey guys, anyone playing Heroes and Generals? Is it worth sinking the time into or should I just stick with Red Orchestra 2? Is it a pay to win type game?
