Is the summer sale prices were according to your expectations, or it was higher than the previous year just the way i see that??
If you will like Rage, get The Scorchers dlc next sale, it's really good.

Not much really. I tried to buy Pan-Pan for a giveaway, while trying to figure out the Steam gift system and accidentally bought it for myself (whoops) and bought Yooka Laylee for my husband's birthday.
Other than that, I'm saving my credit for the next sale!

Sadly I do not have the Humble Monthly ;_; When I return to work, I think I'll probably sign up for it, but for now it's belt-tightening time!
It's really great that we're both gamers, but wish there was more awesome couch co-op games. Lots of games don't have to deal with split-screen, I'd honestly just prefer they tethered the characters together to a certain distance since when we play games together we're mostly working in a tight-knit team anyway.
I'm sure you will! I mean, I'm pretty much most people's definition of 'undateable' since I have so many problems and am a huge weirdo, but mine was equal parts luck and effort. I met my husband online through a Livejournal RP group like...ten years ago, but we were long distance for like 3 years and hopped back and forth between countries at first, so it was certainly a lot of effort. The internet is great in that you can connect with weirdos like you who don't live in your area ^_^;
Only advice I'd give to people looking to get their female partners into gaming is, don't start with shooters. Some women do like shooters, but it can put a lot of them off too. I think the ideal starting game is something cute with interesting or artistic graphics that has a lot of working together but is easy to learn. Borderlands is a good intro to shooters for people who don't play a lot of shooters (like me) and aren't into the militaristic style. Sorry for the essay I wrote :P

Well that's really great, in India there are not that much girls i know that really play games, i mean i know 0 girls, maybe one day, someone will reply to my comment here in steamgifts and maybe i'll fly to her directly with a copy of ROCKET LEAGUE or Mario, just to play together. :D :D

That would be so cute! Even if you meet a local girl, if she loves you, you should be able to convince her to try your hobby :)
Wishing you luck for the future, fingers crossed you someday meet the love of your life!

Overall not a bad sale for me. I usually use these sales to pick up some smaller games I want to try and check out certain mechanics of as sort of research for gamedev as well as pick up some games I've been wanting for a while. I have been really pleased with what I got this year so far.

Prices could be better for some games.
You were talking about ubisoft, and yeah.
For example, The division 2 is coming and they still sell the first for 9,99€?
While EA (yes, even EA) sells Battlefront Ultimate Edition for 5€, for example.

The Walking Dead A New Frontier. I wanted to grab RWBY but didn't have extra money. Also I'm saving for either Fault-Silence The Pedant, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Walking Season Finale or Code Vein.

The only game I bough pre order was SAO Fatal Bullet. But that's after some researches from YT videos and I turned out enjoying so much. Even tho the AIs are just whole level of disgusting creatures.... If I really am interested in LOTR or Code Vein I might buy full price but not pre order. I did that to NieR Automata and I really like the game. Or maybe wait a little more for discount so I might be able to get both of them. I had to wait a year to buy DOOM and Titanfall 2 so I don't really mind waiting. I just don't want to die before I get to play the games I want and I have haha.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah man, Titanfall 2 recently had a massive price drop of $5/$10. but i bought it in the last sale, the base version as the expansion doesn't have much story content to continue..
But yeah, my mind tells me to never preorder, or buy games at full price, i always try the games first if possible and if i like that, which i generally do, then i purchase the games to support the developers in any way i can.

I've posted this in one of the other threads already, but since no one gave a reply and I really like the way you comment, I'll let you know what I bought ;) Thanks for asking <3
I've pulled the trigger on those beauties at last:
Shuyan Saga - 0,95 € in HRK Make a Bundle Yay! \o/
Pavilion - 75% off - 2,45 € in the Artful Puzzlers Pack
The Mind of Marlow - 80% off - 0,69 €
Tametsi - 75% off - 0,74 €
Paint it back - 50% off - 3,99 € this one rarely goes on sale
Escape from Pleasure Planet - 75% off - 3,74 €
0,95 € real money spent for the HRK bundle, 11,55 € card money got me the rest. Wonderful sale :D

So it seems that you celebrated your summer sale in all the different stores, hrk and steam from what i'm looking at.
Good to see you're actually buying those games that are not so popular, really helping the gaming industry in one way.
Keep it up man.

I only bought 3 games: Rusty Lake Paradise, Tales of Aravorn and YS VI: the Ark of Nephistim in GOG. About 14 dollars, less if i take into account i bought Rusty Lake Paradise with money obtained from Steam Trading cards. As my backlog gets bigger i find less excuses to buy new games.

Wow, that's really a long list, and glad to see you actually used the humble credits for pre-order purpose, great way to go.
Same pinch on HELLBLADE, i bought the game here for around $7 and really it is a must have, i was so get caught between FF15 and fallout 4 goty, that i bought those 2 games along with hellblade. :)

Bought $30 Steam wallet for $25 with the paypal offer, didn't buy any games with it xD

Was saving up to finally purchase Rocket League, then something came up and had to use the money. Only played RL on a free weekend and that was enough to get me excited.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, i bought the ROCKET LEAGUE when there was a bundle on Humble, later kept it for trading and sold that because Rocket league was pretty cheap at my region - $8 for GOTY.
Still didn't buy that, as i preferred hellblade to play due to the story rich content.
BTW, how much you actually paid for ROCKET LEAGUE??
Comment has been collapsed.
I didn't. I was saving up but used to pay the bills, since every pennie counts nowadays, especially where I live. So yeah, I'll try to get it next time. Probably the only multiplayer game I'm willing to play.

Spelunky for approx. $1.25 after conversion.
Sucks that I missed that Spike Planet because my internet was down, but I didn't win anything from the event anyway.
Also planned to buy Payday 2: UE but I either got lazy loading up Steam Wallet or I wanted to save for future stuff (which is bad because I'm stuck with the same situation for the August Humble Monthly again).

Payday 2 recently spooked many users like me,
They released a complete edition and then and i bought that already, later they release a GOTY edition, which was way cheaper than what i paid for, just 15 days difference
After that, i was so so unhappy, that i stopped playing Payday 2.
Still it's a good game, but they shouldn't have forget old customers
Comment has been collapsed.
Good, but in my opinion, you should buy something each sale, as with every new sale, old games are removed and you might not have the chance to keep your favourite game in your library.
And with each steam sale, the prices of old games are increasing so keep that in mind too..

Hello Friends
As we all know that the SUMMER SALE has ended today, or yesterday :D. Please do let me know which games did you buy and how much did you spent in total for the summer sales, i.e. $10, $100, $1000 ...etc.
I've bought the following games [sequence from day1 to day 15]
STEAM SALE
ORIGIN SALE
Satisfaction level - 100% [Till now]
Total Money Spent In Both Sales = $130.2 in Indian Currencies
What i didn't liked about this sale
Ubisoft games were pricey, even though they were discounted to 60-75%, though they increased their retail prices, and the OLDEST games in Assassin's creed that should were sold for about a dollar or two in 2016, are now increased 3 times the price.
Not only this, even the HITMAN 2016 version i purchased was available for $7 in last year, and recently due to the addition of just one dlc, they doubled the prices, sad move eidos interactive.
The only game that i thought will be available for a hefty discount was the evil within 2, but later i noticed they increased the retail from 1999 to 2999, during the sales time, again the cheap move by bethesda.
Although i was expecting a 75% discount on DOOM game, but that didn't happened
And the last but not the least, the OLDEST call of duty games, SHOULD BE AVAILABLE for 90% or 75% discount, All the major publishers, and game developers should decrease the prices of those games that don't have that much online content available, like AC1,2,brotherhood,revelation and also the POP series, they should be available with hefty 85-90% discounts, as we like to support the developers, but the prices were not justified
I hope next time, steam will do something about that, even though that's least expected, but I'll be waiting :) :)
So far it seems everyone did purchased heavily, and really surprised to see and check a few new games, that I'm thinking to buy in the next sale.
While commenting please mention the following things in short :)
