survival game but it also makes u think a bit and yes u should get it especially for that price ;p

it's more or less a survivalgame with crafting and micromanagement.
you can choose different "storys" with different people.
You can go out at night, than it's something like a sidescrooling stealthgame where your choise matters.

It's an awesome game because it gives you a feeling how hard war can be and that there is never a winner or "the right thing to do" in war.

I tried it, I just couldn't get into it. Too much strategy/planning/managing, I didn't know it was that kind of game. If that's your kind of thing though, apparently the game and its story/choices are great so I say go for it.

Micro-management strategy game, with deep emotional story very often pushing you to moral choices.

10/10 game, my top 10 of all time easily.

Good game. Has replayability value because of different characters with different perks. The game also has different metas which makes it interesting.

I'm very much on the fence, but overall I think it's something everyone should play.

The problem for me was that when I started playing I became extremely involved with the story, and found it really powerful, and was totally absorbed in the world...

Which meant the first illogical "game-y" moment was like a boot in the face for my immersion.

I kept going, but didn't really have the same attachment with the characters any more, and had to force myself to try and feel the weight of my decisions instead of just playing the best odds.

Then, another huge, illogical "game-y" moment stomped all over what remained of my suspension of disbelief, and my engagement was completely gone. Couldn't get anything out of playing it after that.

But, despite all my criticism there, for those first few hours I was really loving the experience. So, I guess... Yeah. It's probably worth a fiver.

It's worth playing once, and it is interesting till mid-game. After you are set up, it's quite boring and easy.

Just to mimic PsychoApeMan, this is a game everyone should play. It's heavy emotionally, and it makes you empathize with normal people caught in the middle of a war.

As for the game itself, well, there's a good chance you get drawn in, you'll keep trying to get your people to survive the war (good luck with that). But the gameplay itself, without the story and the graphics, is ok (not bad, just ok). So it really is all about the presentation.
How replayable it is is open to debate. some people want to try with different characters, but again it comes down to presentation, as the gameplay remains the same.

But again, even if the gameplay itself is nothing special, the presentation and storyline is great, and it really is a game everyone should play, even if it's only for 5 minutes not that it'll be that short. probably took me about 60 hours before I was able to start a game and keep my survivors alive until the war ended

2D Survival Game. You collect food, resources, defend your home from invaders etc.

Played the game and found it boring, though.

If you play sitting at desk close to your screen you'll be fine. If you play from a distance, like me, you won't be able to read any of the print on the screen. Hopefully they will fix that someday.

Go to youtube,watch one of thousands reviews or let's play or whatever and you have your answer. Not living in a 90's anymore you know.

it's a good game if you are into that kind of game.....However, it's not going to be of interest to a lot of people. ...for me, I didn't care for it, or that particular genre....that doesn't mean I think it's horrible, it just doesn't thrill me.
