Borderlands 2 (MAC) > Windows?

Few days ago I had no money on net, I missed the deal for normal Borderlands 2, so I have to ask. If Steam is cross platform, will it work if I buy this and try to install it on my Win 7 computer? I haven't found it on Steam store, there is only 1 version.

Ok thanks to all, I bought it. But it's a pitty that it's called Borderlands 2 Mac retail in my transactions history.
