Sometimes you can enter a giveaway expecting to play it at some point in your life, though, when you have more free time, and then find that that doesn't come (or at least hasn't come yet.) Or you can intend to play it immediately, but another game can come along which you want to play first, and then another and another, and eventually the game you intended to play is forgotten at the bottom of the pile...

now thats not entirely fair.

sometimes it wont run on your machine, sometimes its not as fun as you thought.

there is more to it than just thinking "oh I wont ever play this game"

Well, the OP does mention monthly giveaway groups. For those, since you're paying an entrance fee might as well just enter for everything you can.

Me too, i won binding of isaac collection, playing it since (won it 0.5-1 years ago)

I will play the games I win too, but I just do not play them before I am ready to put a lot of time down into them.

I do not like to play a game for 60 minutes and then jump to another :/ I did it before but now I have finally decided not to do it again. Right now I am playing Dark Messiah and I am intending to finish it before starting on a new game.

On the other hand; all the giveaways I enter are for games that I am genuinely interested in playing!
