The only surgery I have had is on my testicles.
I had testicular torsion.
I was 14 at the time, so it was a few years ago.
I woke up at around 3:30AM in intense pain. And by that I mean, imagine getting kicked in the testicles, now times that pain by about 100. It is fucking painful. I felt my testicle and it was all swollen, but I decided to just go back to bed. I couldn't really get back to sleep, and when I did I woke up again at around 5:30, but I was alone at this time since my mum had gone to pick my brother up from work. So I am lying there, the pain had gotten worse at this point, and I couldn't get hold of anyone, so I threw my phone at the wall in frustration, got up, tried to take my mind off it by googling my symptoms, and taking 2 co-codamol, which didn't help. So my mum got back, after about an hour or 2 of trying what the NHS helpline said, I finally went to hospital. I had some man feel up my balls, then another man came and felt up my balls, then some chick came and felt up my balls, and finally, another man came and felt up my balls. So after having numerous strangers feel my balls, I was finally told I had a torsion in the left testicle. I was also told that if I arrived any later, I would have lost my testicle, so that was lucky. Anyway, by 9:00 AM I was being ported to the aneasthetic room, drugged up, and the I woke up at 11:30ish. I was drugged up on morphine, so I didn't feel shit for the rest of the day. When I went to the toilet I had some kind of jock strap on, I removed it and had stitches along the centre of my testicles. Now there is a scar there, and I have balls of steel since they anchored them into place.

All in all, it was a fun story to tell everyone. People got so fed up of hearing it over and over again, lol.

Haha read up a few posts. Welcome to the club of ironballs :D

Ah yeah did you piss blood too right after the surgery? They told me it's not too rare and after another examination I was free to go.

Nah, I was lucky, I guess. Although, when the nurse took out the IV needle, the blood didn't clot straight away, so that was pouring from my vein. Couldn't feel a thing though, even though it had been about 5 hours after the surgery, lol.

I also had testicular torsion in my early teens.

No fapping for about a month for a young teen. It was hard. Cough

Really? A month? Man, I was started about 5-7 days after the surgery, maybe sooner. Once my balls stopped bleeding, I was good to go.

When I took my first dump after the operation I was afraid that my juice makers (can you say bollocks here?) might rip off, so I thought that it would be a good idea to wait for them to heal.

I also didn't get any painkillers. It was awful.

Yeah, you can say bollocks here. Unless you are abusing someone, I don't think there is any restrictions on what words you want to use.
I think my first dump was a few hours after the op, but I was a bit worried for my balls.
They didn't give me any painkillers to take home, but with the amount of morphine they pumped into me, I didn't feel a thing until the second morning after the op. There was about 5 or 6 little holes in my nutsack which were no doubt from the needles, lol.
I remember being a bit chilly down there after they shaved my plums, lol.

I had one but don't know how it's called in English. It was in the nose and because of it I couldn't breath well.

I had a surgery on my ear in the past. Was playing around with my classmates during primary school, when somebody pushed a table in front of me. Long story short, my head slammed against the side of a wall and split my ear cartilage wide open. Later when my father came around, he actually thought I was missing a part of my ear, due to how the injury looked. Took a couple of stitches, but it's nothing too obvious anymore.

Noobs:P - except AxeMurderer (and a few others), he seams to be a pro (does this have anything to do with your nickname?:D)
Kidney transplant and about 4 before that, all related (AV fistula, dialysis catheter implant & removal, AV catheter implant and removal)
And had other 2 on the way - a tendon reconstruction & eye one for Internal Pterygium (not that bad, only +0.75)

Funny thing about my transplant - the doc said I woke up during the surgery and said something stupid: "Die FuzzyLogic, Die!" then went back to "sleep". Weird since I only played 1- hours oc CS in my life :)))

Oh yeah, add the wisdom teeth . Damn, I hate them :|

It might have something to do with the nickname. That and the fact that I'm a killer :D
Seriously, there's a lot of pros here.
How was the recovery on the transplant? Painful?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Not really. I got off the bed the second day and in 10 days I was ready to go home. Unfortunately I had to stay 30 days, that's the policy on transplants here.
It was a little bit difficult to sleep or stay on the right side but not painful.

And yeah, I know but I said "Die FuzzyLogic, Die!" :)))

Yes, I am OK now.. I have some kind of disease which I was born with and had to get a surgery. The first one was just temporary, that's why I had two.

I shot a benign mole in Reno just to watch it die (I didn't like the way it looked, lol). The only major thing I've had done was an outpatient procedure to get fixed. No babies for me, tyvm.

I've had surgery to my knee (I was a volunteer firefighter a few years ago and had to quit due to knee problems) and also removed the appendix... March 1st I'll find out if I'll need surgery to my wrist following a motorcycle accident...

Had my first surgery a few days after I was born to correct a clubbed foot. By the time I was 14 I had had a dozen or so surgeries to correct it (It was horribly clubbed). They said I would never be able to walk properly, but, luckily, I can walk perfectly fine now.

Hooray for cutting people open and screwing with their insides!
