I want to report some scumbags scammers that got caught trying to steal games from me, but they blocked me by the time i could get anything. is there a way to search for the users that blocked you?

Nope, there isn't.
And to answer your next question: There is a reason for it and that's to try and prevent more drama.

You're welcome :)

i didnt ask any other question and i knew it was probably to prevent harassment and stuff like that. but its still annoying bc you end up getting scammed and there is no way to get them back. thanks anyways.

I'm pretty sure they mean Steam, and not the blacklist used here.

i meant steam as well. usually they add me without even making a comment on anything. almost got scammed earlier this week. a few month earlier i got 3 keys stolen because of this. im more prudent now but its still annoying that you cant report them.

You can still report them. Just go to their profile and click the "More" button and then "Report Violation". Not that it matters, doubt Steam takes action based on those unless there's a massive amount of reports on a profile.

Can't you just use incognito and the search in http://steamcommunity.com/ ?
Or just log off?

I also suggest you use Bible black as a reference.
