Bump for another landmark solved, thanks for the puzzle!

I'd advise to try to know more about the building by looking at reference sources.

Finally solved. Took me quite a while to understand what to do initially.
Unfortunately the fifth hint leads to three different potential solutions, but that was manageable.
Nice work! :-)

Congrats! And indeed I did not realize. I just used the first occurrence I guess.

So, up to the Duomo di Milano.
I must say I was not expecting much from Milan when I went there. And I was wrong.
What is spectacular in this cathedral is its size. Hop on the metro, exit at Duomo station, through the Piazza del Duomo exit, climb the stairs and look up. It's there, and its huge. At a point where you cannot focus on details, being absorbed by the global impression, with your brain starting to panic with 'where do I start'.
The inside of the Duomo is ... a cathedral. I am not especially interested in religious arts. So, nothing I remember clearly.
What is more interesting is the roof. You can climb there (there is a lift) and look at details of all the spires. Very nice. From here you clearly see that the café-to-be is across the street on the northern side of the Cathedral. It's at the top floor of a department store. Go there, grab a coffee, try the terrasse, and enjoy the view on the Cathedral.
This cathedral, 3rd largest in the world, has been built between 1386 and 1965, by a number of Architects & Engineers.
