Hi all, I've given away a fare number of games so far and was wondering how the account value system works.

1) If you give out the same game twice or two copies does it shift it?
2) If the game is from a bundle (I guess the ones with the star after it) does that make it change?
3) Is it the real dollar value of games? or their current price at the time of the giveaway? AKA is it affected by sales.

Thanks!

the '' in the games list means that it was a bundle game and therefor the amount of points you get from them is limited. Them max amount you can get from only bundle games is $30.
in short it's this non
games + (.2 x non games up to your game amount)

1) yes
2) depends, read cxiong93's link
3) it's the current US steam store value (value will drop if steam store price drops, but it's not affected by sales)

you're welcome

1) Each copy of one gives you the same value in contribution, unless it appeared in a bundle.
2) See cxiong93's post.
3) Value is based on the base price in US. Discounts are not considered.

You can give out as many copies of FarCry2 or Borderlands:GotY or any GotY you want and you'll get full Steam store retail value.
