This one was mentioned previously (by Veebles of course) but I missed it... so I thought maybe some others might've missed it as well, and it's due out soon.

Found lots of new games this Steam Game Festival. Most of them are already here but there's at least one that's missing:

I'm really digging this trend of Overcooked/Moving Out local gameplay.

This looks cool.

The demo for me however runs at like 25 fps or less ,on any setting it seems, which is unplayable for me. I think the demo is a alpha build still.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/768200/SMALLAND/
Smalland is a massive adventure on a tiny scale! Shrunk down to the size of a pebble, you find yourself in a vast, (and suddenly intimidating) wilderness. Before you can begin to try to figure out why this has happened, you'll need to find food, water, and shelter - survival is no small feat.
It appears this one is finally making some progress towards Early Access.

What's this?? A 40k game that looks awesome?!?
OddFauna and Sketchy Fables appear to have gem potential.

OddFauna looks really cool, and it's currently running a Kickstarter campaign, already way over-funded.

El Dorado has my interest! I'd love more city builders in this vein.

Young Souls is a gorgeous 2D brawler meets story-rich action RPG. Fight hordes of belligerent goblins, level up with hundreds of weapons and accessories, explore, and journey between worlds, as rebellious twins battle their way to save their foster father.

Card Shark looks awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed the Reigns games on mobile.
Bomb Rush looks like a killer love letter to Jet Set Radio.

You know a lot of games. Got any good indie gems for roguelikes, deckbuilders, or metroidvanias?
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, as far as deckbuilders/card/Rogue Like games go i like griftlands:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/601840/Griftlands/
Gordian Quest:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/981430/Gordian_Quest/
and also Library of Ruina lot:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1256670/Library_Of_Ruina/
Perhaps one of those can peak your interest. :)

Thanks! Gordian Quest is on my wishlist I think. The others I don't know if I've seen. Slay the Spire really got me more interested in deckbuilders :D
Comment has been collapsed.
hehe, yeah slay the spire does that to some. ^^
Although those games mentioned are more into story/gameplay and a little less into deckbuilding (or at least less just "fighting" the way to the top of the "spire") they are a lot of fun.
Perhaps some of the mentioned games could interest you.

That's okay. Like, my go-to for deckbuilding roguelikes is Slay the Spire, but I do love me some story driven games. :D

I'm never in a rush for these things. Just wishlist fodder while I wait for sales most of the time

I also became interested in deckbuilder roguelikes/lites after playing Slay the Spire (even though I loved the browser-version of Spectromancer long ago). Now, I love Griftlands because it has story progression, an open map which allows you to strategically visit shops rather than bump into them, and has a brawler mode without story as well. Now is an excellent time for varied types of deckbuilding games. You already know about Gordian Quest and Library of Ruina, be sure to check out: Monster Train. Vault of the Void, Ratropolis, Tainted Grail: Conquest, Knock on the Coffin Lid, Book of Demons, ORX, DungeonTop, Banners of Ruin, NEOVERSE, Deck of Ashes, Nowhere Prophet, Cardpocalypse, Urban Cards, Roguebook, Cardaclysm, and Iris and the Giant, which is now available in a Humble Bundle.

I picked up Iris and the Giant as well as Book of Demons for super cheap and I have Monster Train on my wishlist. I'll check the rest of them out tomorrow. Thanks <3

Sunblaze (this one reminds me of Celeste, in a good way)
Lead Josie, aka. Sunblaze into a superhero training simulator built by her dad, a retired protagonist fighting the evils of our universe. Sunblaze is a brain-twisting precision platformer with hundreds of challenging levels, an awesome story, a superb soundtrack, and beautiful game design.
