i got different games than from the last one. More older Games and overall cheaper games. Wouldnt recommend this one for that matter. The last one had better games

Fanatical sent me a survey recently, and I made sure to mention about 12 times that they really need to cut it out with the damn mystery bundles.

I don't think so. If they barely had anyone buying these mystery keys/bundles, with many people voicing their opposition against these kind of deals, they wouldn't create new mystery offers pretty much every single week.

Fanatical for once is giving game hints on their blog for 5 games you could supposedly find in this mystery bundle. I don't think any of them have dropped yet, but I also don't have good guesses at the hints. What do other people think the hints are?

When the Mystery Goldrush Bundle ends very soon, I do plan on writing up (in the SG post's comments and reddit) a retrospective by the numbers on how close Fanatical's claimed averages on price & reviews of drops compared to the actual drops that people reported here on SG.

It's almost as if people have the right to decide what they think is worth their money or not.
Not saying I'm buying these or that I recommend people get it. But shaming people for not doing what you're doing is just the most cringeworthy type of elitism you can have.
It would be more than easy to get on your case for doing things that aren't "good" simply by looking through your profile, yet no one does it since they most likely also have it and they don't want to be condescending.

Have you ever thought that, maybe... just maybe... the majority who purchases those mystery bundles aren't addicted game collectors with over 8k titles in their libraries? For those people, perhaps those mystery bundles are worth their money. If you're new to the bundle world and don't have that many games, it's probably a good deal.
With that being said, yeah, I'd love if Fanatical would stop with the mystery crap. I guess (hope) the trend will fade away. Eventually.
Instead of shitting on people and being all angry that you don't have "good" bundles to buy, why don't you just play a game you've never touched yet? With over 8000 games, I'm sure there are a few still waiting to be played.

By the time anyone will get the AAA game they want, they will have spent far more than just outright getting it on sale. And all they have to show for it is a bunch of prior bundled or soon to be bundled games that weren't worth the entry fee.
Fanatical clearly is ignoring what people are saying in that emailed survey about mystery bundles. We can only hope people wise up and they stop this nonsense and start offering real bundles again, because I for one will not purchase these...ever.

The thing that is so sad is how it is changing ,and gonna change even more ,the pc games we all love to play.
What were once cool open-world games with a great story or maybe action sequences that progress as you play
are now starting to be designed , "hacked" to include "fake" barriers that require loot-box unlocking or upgrading
with items that cost real cash.
We're the lucky ones ,we'll probably look back on the last 20 years as the golden age of PC gaming ,before the rot set in.

The rising success of open world lead to overblown worlds (trillions of things to collect, radiant fetch quests, 5 hour weak stories saved by/padded with dozens of hour of generic open world mechanics and activities) were just the base to slow progression and/or gate content. Then the grind-or-pay microtransaction really started ruining things.

I think things got out of hands when all the F2P/P2W took hold. And then mobile gaming happened and all the non gamers who started to play "free games" and got frustrated and started buying thousands to buy shortcuts and cheats and gear etc gave the big devs mobile envy. It wasn't a big leap to the loot boxes. I mean if people were ready to pay for stuff they'd pay even more for the possibility of buying big right?
It's truly sad but hey we'll always have Skyrim.
